In the workshop

Here we show you various stages of the repair/refurbishment processes that we use in our workshop.

Outer casing

Consisting of 6 stages, this is how we carry out this process 

1. Clean & De-grease.
2. Remove existing paint/rust by blast cleaning.
3. Apply 2 coats of etch-primer to inner and outer.
4. Apply 3 coats of white to inner.
5. Apply blue stripe to inner.
6. Apply 3 coats of black to outer.

The blasted casing is pre-heated in a low-bake oven prior to the initial coat of primer and after each subsequent coat of paint.
